Financial market infrastructure-related cases

I.       The Shanghai Financial Court has exclusive jurisdiction over first-instance civil and commercial financial cases and finance-related administrative cases to which financial market infrastructures, such as the Shanghai Stock Exchange, China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch, the Shanghai Futures Exchange, and China Financial Futures Exchange Co. Ltd., are defendants or third parties and are related to the performance of their duties.

II.      The foregoing applies to any other functional financial institution in Shanghai which has been recognized as a financial market infrastructure by the Shanghai High People¡¯s Court.
